Hand Therapy

Hand Therapy has been provided within UHN for over 20 years. Our institution has a long-standing track record for providing expert care for traumatic hand injuries, developing further expertise.

Our Hand Therapy services:

• address the entire upper quadrant.
• are evidence based and holistic, by recognizing the physical and psychosocial impact of hand injuries.
• provide care with one clinician, cross-trained in all aspects of care (either an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist will provide care).
• are unique & innovative (** ask us about Custom Gloves/Splints and Aesthetic Prosthesis).
• timely and provide access to many specialty products and services for those with complex injuries.
• are goal directed and focus on return to function.
