Custom & Specialty Devices

UHN Rehabilitation Solutions can provide unique and innovative products for improving function and independence.

By accessing our custom and specialty devices, you can be assured of a thorough assessment and clinical opinion on what is the best device for you to improve your function at home, sports and work. This avoids the problems of being provided with devices that do not work or could be harmful.

A therapist will assess and work with you to provide:

  • adaptive equipment
  • custom and off the shelf orthotics, splints and braces.
  • custom gauntlets (leather splints for long term and heavy wear conditions).
  • aesthetic prosthesis (we can refer you to the right provider and give you all the details of what is involved).
