Acute Injury Rehabilitation Program

At UHN Rehabilitation Solutions, we provide acute injury rehabilitation utilizing Regulated and Allied Health Professionals who are able to assess and begin treating injured people within 48 hours of a referral.

Our Acute Injury Rehabilitation Program includes the following:

  • Programming is tailored to the individual needs of the client and their specific injury.
  • Coordination of care eliminates duplication of services.
  • Communication with all stakeholders is initiated early so as to facilitate a smooth transition from treatment to workplace re-entry.
  • Massage therapy and psychology services can also be provided (see links to these services).
